DATA-Q was founded in 1995 with the aim of delivering education in Information Technology to individuals across diverse fields, thereby empowering them to advance in their careers and tackle the challenges presented by the corporate and educational sectors in the 21st century. Over the years, DATA-Q has established a commendable reputation, leading to its accreditation by NIELIT for "O" level, "A" level, and B-Level courses. Furthermore, DATA-Q was designated as an implementation partner for the "IT Education & Training" initiative by the Department of Higher Education, Government of West Bengal, at Barasat Government College and Bidhannagar College in Saltlake City. Subsequently, Shri Shikshayatan College, Kolkata, and Netaji Satabarshiki Mahavidyalaya mandated the NIELIT Basic Computer Course for all first-year students starting in 2016. The inaugural District Digital Classroom of NIELIT was launched at NSM College by Vice-Chancellor Prof. Basab Chowdhury of West Bengal State University. Notably, Shri Shikshayatan College has made the decision to require Python Programming for its students, while Bidhannagar College has integrated the Basic Computer Course as a Multi-Disciplinary Course within the university curriculum. We take great pride in our role as training partners with these esteemed institutions. Data-Kau stands as the sole computer training center in the district authorized to issue certificates recognized by the National Council for Vocational Education and approved by AICTE, which are acknowledged at the national level.
In pursuit of our mission, we direct our efforts towards two modes of operation. Firstly, we assess and provide training to both current students and graduates, which has been our primary focus at DATA-Q thus far.
Secondly, we also prepare first and second-year college students for employment opportunities upon graduation. Our program provides employment linkages, enabling these students to secure jobs immediately after they graduate.
O-Level & A-Level Computer courses are the gateway to some of the most lucrative careers in India. Many industries stay on the lookout for skilled candidates that have knowledge of the course and although the salary after a vocational course might seem low to many, the low course fee of these courses and good chances of growth in the future help overlook these shortcomings. However, care must be taken while choosing which professional course to take admission into as it might limit your options for choosing a higher education course.
Without any shadow of doubt, it is the members of the teaching community who impart progress into the students. Drawn from the reputed universities of India , the highly qualified and experienced faculty is the greatest asset of DATA-Q. Our Faculty team includes outstanding educators and researchers from both the academic and Industry.
Practical training is an essential part of studies in Technical Course. All the study programmes offered at DATA-Q of Computer Sciences involve a period of practical training which is designed to provide students with the opportunity to put theory into practice. The aim of practical training is to help students develop skills and abilities that support professional studies and prepare them for work later on.
